"Cairo Time" began in late 2018. It was about two months after the birth of our son "Cairo". The album was a made to be the 9th edition of the "Datura Dimes" instrumental series and it will be just that. I was trying to figure out the balance of being a full-time parent, full-time husband, full-time employee and full-time creator of art. What ended up happening is "Cairo" showed me just how easy it is to be all things when it comes from a place of love. I watched this little bitty baby work the drum machine, play the keys and beat the drums. I was smart enough to turn the microphone on and record our lives. Over the next 3 years (sorry it took so long) I was able to produce a soundtrack to our development. As we grew, so did the songs. I hope you enjoy the latest edition to "Datura Dimes" series.
